NEW Mini Whiskey Barrel Keg 27 fl oz Alcohol Dispenser by Modern Expression

About this barrel

This mini whiskey barrel keg from Modern Expression is listed as new by its seller. It holds 27 fl oz and is sold as an alcohol dispenser. Because it's oak, you can flavor spirits in it and serve them from the same barrel.

How long should whiskey sit in a 27 oz barrel keg?

There's no set rule. Tiny barrels work fast, so many people who age at home taste weekly and stop when they like the oak flavor.

• Cure the barrel with water first. Small leaks usually close as the wood swells.
• Write down the start date and tasting notes for each batch.
• The listing doesn't say whether it has a tap or stand, or what the char level is, so check the photos.
• Second fills usually age more gently than the first.

At $14.95, it's a cheap way to start barrel aging, and the eBay Money Back Guarantee protects your purchase.
