VTG Nelcraft Nottingham Oak Barrel Spigoted Liquor Wine Decantor 1930s

About this barrel

Looking for a vintage Nelcraft oak barrel decanter? This used Nottingham piece has a spigot, and the seller dates it to the 1930s. That makes it more of a back-bar conversation piece than a working aging cask.

Can you still pour from a 1930s barrel decanter?

Maybe, but check a decades-old spigot and interior closely. Before you put wine or liquor in it, ask the seller if it holds liquid and what the inside looks like.

• Capacity: not given. Check the photos or ask.
• Condition: used. Look in the pictures for cracks, loose hoops or a worn tap.
• Display ideas: a shelf in a home bar, den or wine nook.
• Age claim: the 1930s date comes from the seller, so read their description carefully.

At $15 it's a cheap piece of vintage barware, and purchases on eBay are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
