50L true oak barrel, unique quality

About this barrel

At about 13 gallons, this 50L oak barrel is a big step up from countertop casks. It's listed new on eBay at $282.08.

Who should buy a 50L oak barrel?

Home winemakers, vinegar makers and anyone aging bigger batches. A large barrel has less wood contact per liter, so flavor builds slowly and evenly over months instead of weeks.

• Seller's words: the title says 'true oak' and 'unique quality.' Read the description for specifics.
• Unknowns: the oak's origin, toast or char level, and any spigot aren't in our data.
• Leak check: fill it with water before the first use to find and seal small leaks.
• Backup: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Set it up where it will stay. A full 50 liter cask is far too heavy to move casually.
