About this barrel
Modern Expression's mini whiskey barrel keg is a 27 fl oz oak alcohol dispenser, and this one is listed new. It's a manageable size for one bottle of bourbon or rum, with a little room to top up.
How long should spirits sit in a mini whiskey barrel keg?
There's no fixed answer. Tiny barrels work fast, so many home users taste every few days and bottle the spirit once the oak flavor tastes balanced.
- Season the keg with water first to swell the oak and catch any leaks.
- The listing doesn't give the char level or accessories. Use the photos and description as your guide.
- Between batches, keep it filled so the staves stay tight.
- It's a practical gift for whiskey fans who like to experiment.
It's sold by an independent seller and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
