About this barrel
Rye, rum, tequila or a pre-batched Old Fashioned: a 27 fl oz mini whiskey barrel from ME Modern Expressions holds about one bottle and lets the oak do the rest. This one is listed new in box.
Why age cocktails in a mini oak whiskey barrel?
Oak softens harsh edges and adds vanilla and spice notes. At this small size, the change shows up fast.
- Prep: soak it in water until the wood swells and holds tight.
- Timing: start tasting after a few days.
- Details to confirm: check the photos for the char level, stand and spigot.
- Care: don't leave it empty for long, or the staves may shrink.
This barrel is sold by an independent eBay seller, and your order is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
