Vintage Whiskey/Beer Barrel Keg With Tap, Plug & Stand Hand Painted - Read Desc!

About this barrel

This vintage whiskey barrel keg pairs pour-ready looks with old-school charm. It's a hand-painted oak piece that comes with a tap, plug and stand for $20.00. The seller lists it for whiskey or beer and asks buyers to read the description, so do that before you buy.

Can a vintage beer or whiskey keg with a tap still hold liquid?

Maybe. No condition is given here, so the description is where you'll find out about leaks, missing parts or wear. If you plan to use it, test it with water first.

• Read the notes: a 'read desc' flag usually points to something worth knowing.
• Hardware: check that the tap and plug fit snugly.
• Capacity: not stated, so ask the seller if size matters to you.
• Display: the stand makes it easy to show off on a bar cart or mantel.
