5L Wine Barrel Bar Kitchen Wooden Whiskey Beer Aging Barrel with Base & Faucet

About this barrel

The 5L wine barrel with faucet is a new oak aging barrel that comes with a base, according to the title. It is listed by an independent eBay seller for bar and kitchen use.

Is a 5L barrel with a faucet good for aging whiskey?

Yes, 5 liters is a common home size. Smaller barrels age faster, so sample regularly. The faucet makes pouring easy without tipping the barrel.

• First use: fill with water to swell the wood and check for leaks.
• Pouring: the faucet and base keep it upright on a counter.
• Drinks: the title mentions whiskey, wine and beer.
• Check: confirm char level and faucet material in the listing.
