Heritage Collective-Mini Aging Barrel-Wooden Keg Whiskey Dispenser No Stand

About this barrel

Do you already have a shelf, cradle or bar top for it? This wooden keg whiskey dispenser from Heritage Collective is a used mini aging barrel. It comes without a stand and is listed at $14. It's made of oak, and the listing doesn't give a capacity.

Do you need a stand for a mini whiskey barrel?

Not strictly, but the barrel has to stay level and steady, especially if it pours from a spigot. A simple wooden cradle works, or a folded towel on a tray in a pinch.

• Check the photos to see if a tap and bung are included.
• Ask the seller what was aged in it, since flavors from earlier spirits can stay in the wood.
• Swell it with water again before use, because a used barrel may have dried out.
