About this barrel
Polish vodka fans may recognize the name on this Debowa Polska oak barrel dispenser, a small wooden liquor keg. This used example measures 9 x 6 inches according to the title and is listed at about 1 liter. That's compact enough for a shelf, a bar cart or a collection of vodka memorabilia.
Does a 1L vodka barrel dispenser still work for aging?
It can, if the wood is sound. A barrel this small flavors spirits quickly, so check progress after a few days.
- Soak it with water first. A used barrel that sat empty may need time to reswell.
- Review the photos for the tap, the stand and any cracks before you commit.
- Ask the seller whether it held vodka or was kept for display.
- Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee when bought on eBay.
