Used Oak Bourbon Barrels (EMPTY) Local Pick Up Only

About this barrel

These used oak bourbon barrels are sold empty, and the title says local pick up only. They're listed at $90.00. Ex-bourbon barrels made of American oak are popular for aging craft beer, finishing other spirits, or turning into furniture and planters.

What can you age in a used bourbon barrel?

Stouts, barleywines, cider, hot sauce and maple syrup are all common choices, since the wood can still pass bourbon character into a new fill. Clean and swell it first.

• Pickup only: check the listing for the pickup location before you commit.
• Quantity: the title says barrels, so check whether $90.00 buys one barrel or more.
• Size: the title doesn't give a capacity, so ask or read the description.
• Transport: once you know the dimensions, plan a vehicle with enough room.
