Small 1960s Vintage Italian Oak & Brass Barrel

About this barrel

This small 1960s vintage Italian oak barrel pairs wood with brass, a combination that gives mid-century barware its warm look. The used piece is listed at $88.00. People buy a piece like this for its age and design, not its capacity.

How should you display a 1960s vintage Italian oak barrel?

A small barrel with brass accents looks at home on a bar cart, bookshelf or sideboard, especially next to other mid-century glassware. It's listed as a vintage piece, not as an aging barrel.

• Check the photos to see where the brass is used, such as the hoops, tap or fittings.
• The title doesn't give a size, so look for measurements in the listing.
• The brass may have a patina, so decide whether you'd keep it or polish it.
• Ask the seller about any markings that show where it came from.
