Thyle 4 Set 1L Barrel Whiskey Dispenser, Wooden Oak Barrel Stand, Bar Decor

About this barrel

The Thyle 1L barrel whiskey dispenser set comes with four small oak barrels on a wooden stand. An independent eBay seller lists it new at $110.10. With four separate barrels you can run four experiments at once, such as whiskey in one, rum in another and a spiced brandy or cocktail batch in the others.

What can I do with a 1L barrel whiskey dispenser set?

You can pour a side-by-side tasting flight, age different spirits at the same time or just display it as bar decor. Each barrel holds only 1 liter, so the oak flavor develops quickly.

• Swell each barrel with water before filling.
• Taste every few days at first, because mini barrels can get too oaky fast.
• Label each barrel so you don't mix up batches.
• Check the listing for the stand's layout and the type of tap.
