Pooch Hooch Saint Bernard 0.5L Keg Dispenser Charred Oak Aging Dog Collar

About this barrel

This Pooch Hooch piece is a Saint Bernard keg dog collar with a real 0.5L charred oak keg dispenser attached. It's a nod to the famous alpine rescue dogs, and it's listed new at $102.62.

Can this tiny charred oak keg actually age spirits?

Yes, in small amounts. At half a liter, a lot of wood touches very little liquid, so a splash of whiskey or brandy changes quickly. Taste often so the oak doesn't take over.

• The title doesn't give the collar size or say if it adjusts. Check the listing before ordering for your dog.
• Fill the keg with water before its first use so the wood swells and seals.
• Never let a dog wear it with alcohol inside. Empty it for photos and costumes.
• It also works as a shelf decoration or a gag gift for dog lovers.
