30L Vintage Wood Wine Barrel Dispenser for Beer Brandy Tequila Whiskey Rum Port

About this barrel

Port and other fortified wines do well in oak, and a port wine barrel at home lets you taste the change glass by glass. This new 30L vintage wood barrel dispenser is listed at $112.40 by an independent eBay seller. The listing names port as a use, along with brandy, rum, whiskey, tequila and beer.

Why choose a 30L port wine barrel?

A 30-liter barrel adds oak flavor gently and slowly, which suits rich wines. It holds about 7.9 gallons, or roughly 40 standard bottles.

• Swell it with water first, then drain it completely before filling.
• Keep it somewhere cool with steady humidity to limit evaporation.
• Top it up from time to time so air doesn't spoil the wine.
• Check the listing for details on the tap, stand and inside of the barrel.
