2 Liter Oak Aging Barrel with Wood Stand, Bung & Spigot - Mini Whiskey Barrels f

About this barrel

Small barrel, quick results: this 2 liter mini whiskey barrel is new oak with a wood stand, bung and spigot, listed at $93.37. It's a good size for gifting, for display on a home bar shelf or for testing recipes before you commit to a larger cask.

How long should spirits age in a 2 liter mini whiskey barrel?

Often a few weeks rather than months, because a lot of oak surface touches a small amount of spirit. Let your taste decide when it's done.

• Recipe testing: try out a spice blend or base spirit here, then scale up.
• Gift-ready: the stand and spigot are included, so there's nothing extra to buy for basic use.
• Swelling: soak the barrel with water until the leaks stop before the first fill.
• Reuse: each later fill pulls less oak flavor and takes longer.
