1L Wooden Oak Aging Barrel Whiskey Bourbon Wine Dispenser w/ Stand New Open Box

About this barrel

If you want to try barrel aging without committing to a big cask, this 1L wooden oak aging barrel with stand is an easy place to start. It's sold open box, set up as a dispenser, and sized for whiskey, bourbon or wine experiments on the counter.

What does open box mean for an aging barrel?

Open box generally means the packaging has been opened. How much the item was handled varies, so look closely at the photos and description, and confirm the spigot and bung are there.

• Quick aging: a one liter barrel gives a lot of oak contact, so taste often.
• Leak check: soak it with water for a day or two before the first fill.
• Char level: not in the title. Ask if you need a specific char.
• Reuse: after spirits, try a batch of vinegar or a barrel-aged cocktail.
