About this barrel
Restaurant pieces with a local story are hard to find, and this vintage Gold Seal Champagne oak cask has one. According to the title, it comes from The Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. That makes it equal parts wine advertising and a piece of local memory.
Who would want a vintage Gold Seal Champagne cask?
Maryland locals who remember the restaurant, wine advertising collectors, and anyone styling a retro dining room or bar. It's a display piece, not a working barrel.
- Markings: check the photos for Gold Seal or Wagon Wheel branding and how well it has held up.
- Condition: used. Look for loose hoops, cracks or a worn finish.
- Size: not listed. Ask the seller for dimensions before planning where it goes.
- History: ask what the seller knows about its time at the restaurant.
