WOOD BARREL Copper Banded Vintage French Liqueur 6" Oak Barrel Cask Ph Foulon

About this barrel

Copper bands on a 6-inch oak cask give this vintage French liqueur barrel plenty of old-world style for its size. The title also names Ph Foulon. An independent eBay seller lists it used at $28.67.

What is a vintage French liqueur barrel this size used for?

At 6 inches, it's mostly a display or shelf piece. Ask the seller if it ever held liqueur and how it was stored.

• Ask about the Ph Foulon name and any markings.
• Check the copper bands for tarnish or looseness.
• Find out if it has a spigot or stopper.
• It would look good on a bar cart, a bookshelf or in a French-themed kitchen.
