Mini Whiskey Barrel With Wooden Stand

About this barrel

Shopping for a mini whiskey barrel with wooden stand that's ready to sit on a counter? This oak cask rests on its own stand. It's listed as open box, an eBay condition that usually means the packaging has been opened. The listing doesn't give the exact capacity, so read the item specifics before you buy.

What does open box mean for a mini whiskey barrel with stand?

Usually it means the box was opened. Ask the seller whether the barrel was ever filled, because that changes how you'll need to season it.

• Confirm the capacity in the specifics. Smaller casks age spirits faster.
• Soak it in water first so the oak swells and seals.
• The listing doesn't say if the barrel is charred or toasted, so ask the seller.
• The stand keeps the cask level for pouring and display.
