2L American Oak Aging Barrel Kit - Ideal for Whiskey & Bourbon Lovers

About this barrel

A 2L American oak aging barrel kit is about as small as home whiskey aging gets, and this one is made with bourbon fans in mind. An independent eBay seller lists it new for $146.29. American oak is the traditional wood for bourbon, valued for the sweet vanilla and coconut flavors it adds.

Why choose a 2 liter barrel for bourbon?

Size controls speed. A 2 liter cask has a lot of oak for the amount of liquid, so it works quickly. That's good for small batches and anyone who doesn't want to wait, but the spirit can get too oaky if you forget about it.

• Fill it with water first and give the wood time to swell.
• Taste it about once a week and bottle it when you like the flavor.
• The title doesn't list the kit contents or char level, so check the listing.
• Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
